    Pulling distance

Dhd ones install in front of the axle. These ones of zaks are installed where the factory jounce stopper would go. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Pulling distance

The proper way to setup the front on these trucks is not to "lower the front end" but to take all preload off of torsion keys(back bolts out) but keeping it supported at a certain height. When you lower the front, as soon as the sled weights your hitch, the front end raises to a point and you...

Looking at a 2016 gmc sierra 2500 duramax

That truck with a 6 liter truck is worth more than 32. He's not telling you the whole story. Anytime I hear some story like this, I think maybe they had equity in their trade or money down. Then they brag about the price paid when its actually the amount they financed, not total price paid...

    LBZ: 36k rail pressure

I ran a 2400 bar (34,8xx psi) sensor from S&S on our lly puller and rescaled the table. You can do the same with an lbz. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Best 6.0L tuner/tuning

A friends dad thinks another 20-30 hp will help greatly towing his camper(I agreed). But this is a truck that I will never see again, so I want to know what is worthwhile to flash without logging or creating reliability issues, etc. I'm assuming it's a custom tune from a tuner using EFI or HP...

Allison 5sp: 2007 LLY prime issues

I did hook a hose up to the prime pump and fed it from a jug of fuel with identical results. I don't have a fitting for the fuel test port but the local chev dealer said it had 19 psi so obviously they tested it with key on. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

If I do a rail pressure test with scan tool, actual will match desired until you reach 15k. Then it will not make anymore Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

With the prime pump running full time, it will meet desired rail only at idle. As soon as it needs to build rail to move, it will stay around 6k and as you increase throttle it will decrease until it stalls. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    LML Twins and Opinions

You titled this thread appropriately twins and opinions. Getting more of one than the other. If my truck junked two turbos in a row, I'd probably keep my mouth shut and my Peter-skinners off the keyboard, until I made sure the truck or installer is not at fault. I've said it a whole...

Ok, thanks ferm. So it's not a lift pump but a prime pump. I just jumpered the relay and it will run all day. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Allison 5sp: 2007 LLY prime issues

I know it's pretty straightforward diagnosis on pickups but this factory lift pump has me guessing. Why would it pump fuel out both return and supply. I am able to block off the return side and stop the flow, so maybe it just keeps slight pressure on the return circuit. Kinda like piezo...
