    If you keep an eye on the boards they do come up used. I found one for $200 USD + shipping. It just depends on how long you are willing to wait. I'm not sure about the difference in EGT's side to side, but it has to help. FWIW, someone here has some RDL up pipes for sale used.

    How messy does a broken input shaft get? Is it the kind of deal were you can just pull the shaft and replace the thing, or does it start taking out other hard parts when it lets go?

    Another way to ask the question is has anyone seen a decrease in EGT's from running the up pipes? This may not be a valid question on the track, but for on the daily driven truck?

    Banks???

    FWIW, I put mine on level 6 and never looked back. That was OK for towing my 6800# Airstream, but I nuked the tranny when I used level 6 for the slide in camper. I did play with the Speed Loader setting a little and liked it, but it WILL get the stock tranny if you play hard.
