The wastegates will work better if they aren't at a 90* angle to the flow of exhaust gasses. Since it's in the early stages of mock up, I'd try and tilt them to get a smoother transition.

Why didn't you make the pipe in the hot pipe bigger than the pipes in the up pipes? You have two wastegates, but it seems you are limiting the flow to what one will flow.

As you are aware, there are some turbos that aren't available with wastegated housings. I believe you are running one of those.

ya no shit Josh, it doesn't seem to make sense weld 2 wastegates on the back side of the engine that are a pain to get at once installed or weld one into the existing turbine housing and make it a lot easier to get at...

I think the best alternative would be a gated pedestal or pedestal spacer.

I gated my spacer, but maybe he already had 1 38mm and it wasnt enought so he needed a way to put another on, instead of buying a bigger wastegate? Just guessing here. This doesnt look all that bad to me, i dont see where it would be that hard to get to, or why you would need to get to it in the first place? I would defenatly make the pipe bigger that goes into the hot pipe between the 2 chargers tho.

I think welding one to an exhaust housing is a bad idea, what if you want to change housings? Not to mention cracking??

Dual wastegates are easier to build. You dont have to make collector for that. Also in tight spaces they fit in places where one big dont.

This set up is not mine! Its not on my truck! Like i said, a friend is building it. He didnt want a big a$$ huge wastegate so he hid them behind the motor. There is plenty of room back there.

I will definately tell him to make the pipe in the hotpipe bigger:thumb: Thats what i was looking for. Thank you

This is just a comment, but I think it would be hard to get two wastegates to open at the exact same pressure. It may end up being slightly staged on the opening because of differences in springs, specific adjustment, and how each wastegate senses the pressure from the up pipe.

Again, just a comment...

All that aside, I think it does look cool.
