Welcome to the site! :welcome7: It will help greatly if you fill out your signature and tell us what kind of truck/engine you have. Are there any strange sucking noises, fuel on the ground after it is parked, etc? Did you replace the fuel filter and get everything snugged up correctly?- BlkMax

Talk to Rick at ProFab they have all the parts you need for the up-pipes, etc' as well as complete kits. I think Henry at Creatures has complete manifolds and up-pipes for the stock location. Mike is a busy guy. Give him another call. The best thing to do is to keep trying. I have found him very helpful, but the call has always been on my dime. Also, take a close look at the t-case again. It may have been leaking from the rear seal, but it may also have a small hole in the rear...- BlkMax

X2 on logging the rail pressure with EFI. The actual rail pressure is only half the story, you also want the desired rail pressure from the ECU (not just what you have for rail, but what the engine wants for rail). :welcome7: California emissions LB7's had an EGR. Federal emissions LB7's had no EGR. I am pretty sure that VIN code 2 is the LLY. This is a great place to learn about Duramax performance! :thumb:- BlkMax

how is a fuel pressure gauge ran?
I do not see a lift pump in your signatures. With no lift pump, the fuel pressure will be at atmospheric or slightly below. Essentially zero. PPE and others sell rail pressure gauges. Any electronic fuel pressure gauge will work, scale on that one should be no higher than about 30 psi.- BlkMax

That is the beauty of EFI, you can get a tune that will be great for towing and mileage and not all out. DON'T KID YOURSELF....any of the upper level tunes from anyone (programmers, chips, etc.) will SMOKE your transmission. If you do not want to do the build for the trans, do not do anything...- BlkMax

Have you tried removing (un-plugging the MP8) and just running it totally stock? You may have a bad module or corroded connection. Take it out of the equation and see if the truck runs like it is supposed to....- BlkMax
