hello everybody just wanted to introduce my self, my name is oscar and i just became a new owner of an 04 dmax(which i love), im new to diesels and im here to learn only mods so far is a egr block but more to come.

If it has a blocker it must be a lly i believe as they dont make a blocker for an lb7 do they?

not sure what it is but from what i have research on here i thing its an lly, all i have to go with is that the 8th vin# is a 2 and on the engine it has a sticker that states that it makes 310hp.

If it has a blocker it must be a lly i believe as they dont make a blocker for an lb7 do they?

i made my own blocking plates and so far so good no problems or codes

California emissions LB7's had an EGR. Federal emissions LB7's had no EGR.

I am pretty sure that VIN code 2 is the LLY.

Welcome to the forum. 2 in the 8th digit of the VIN definitely indicates an LLY. There is definitely a ton of info available here, so make sure you keep that learning cap on! :welcome8:
