Hello
I have recently purchased trents twins off his dads truck.
What should I expect in power over my current set up if I run it at about 50-52it lbs of boost?
2. Should I install a lbz reg to increase fuel rail too.I only get about 21600 currently and figure 2000 more would be nice.
What you all think?

No need for the reg, it can be increased by tuning. Unless the LBZ reg has some kind of flow benifit i dont know of.

Power wise, if your making full rail pressure on a 3200uS tune, you can make 600+ hp.

Well my tune from idahorob is asking for 27000 psi. I am only getting 21600 but read on DD that if install a lbz reg it will produce 2-2500 more rail due to better flowing reg.
Apparently there is not much difference in cp3 but a lbz need like 26000psi to operate at wot.

Lbz regulator & Suck pump are pretty much the same as a arson kit for a lb7-lly cp3.

I don't think the reg. will help your rail issues. How big is the tune your running now? Have you done a bottle test?

That is where I will be when I install the new triples :happy2:

I am going to try real hard to keep off the fuel until I can get the rods installed.

Did you go with the s366 trips or are you using the stock charger to

Sorry, this is a hijack.....

I already had the HTT in my sig on the truck, so this is a bit of a hybrid kit.

Not all out race, but more than with the stock charger, maybe 800-900 hp with lots-o-fuel on a built motor, according to Trent. I am already in the danger zone because of the II mod pump (I have never had problems holding rail pressure). I am probably going to pull the motor this winter and do a build. I already have the rods in the shop. :D

No I have not done a bottle test. I don't really know my tune. I told Idaho rob my upgrades and he made me a dsp 5 with as much I could to be safe.
Truck silly strong and had 23600 psi rail pressure until my reg locked up. So I put on a used lly cp3 from tony at all season diesel with a new lb7 reg now I have 21600 rail pressure and less power. But the twins should help and I do maintain rail at 21600.

I hope the reg will supply 2000 2500 more i just installed 1 on my truck just got it runing last nite I guess we will see

Please let me know what the out come and difference was.

As far as I was told it goes right on the stock cp3 but ut you have to slightly bend the return line but bolts on and plugs in. Then you need to adjust the current so it idles good.

how hard was gettin that thing to plug in?
Wasnt to bad i moved the steel line after unbolting it and i trimed the plastic on both sides but left it so it still locks on then put the steel line back on.I have to change a cp3 on an 01 dulley and i ordered a lbz pump for it also.

I wasnt running out before and didnt have a v2 to measure the difference.just desided to do the mod since i had the lbz fpr and the motor was out.

Ok now that I know I have 21600 rail pressure on a 27000 tune should I.
1. Have rob build a tune for the twins with 21600 rail pressure
2. Go to a modded 30% cp3
3. Install a dual fueler.
Please keep in mind my rods are stock and want to keep them straight and standard length:roflmao:
