My 6.7 psd is stock at 16.2:1. It was lighting chargers great.
I have since changed cr, cam, valves, and injector nozzle angle. All of which improved the performance during staging, but had little effect on cold starts, or overall power imho.
Bep makes an open thoat vband style turbine housing for the 96/88 wheel iirc. Its available in a 1.10 ar and all stainless steel.
It may be a pricey project but that vband opening would match up pretty decent to an open throat t4 flange.
It may be hard to get lit or it may light fine you...
I can't think of any difference in sensor location, connector style or other parts on the engine by its self.
I would say that gm doesn't change parts numbers when they change suppliers unless the part is actually different.
Well the fastest super street trucks are in the 9's and I did not know the setup. I also did not know if you wanted to put a cage/had a cage etc.
I think being ready for dpc and not coming in with a new setup is a good way to win, but it seems like everyone that gets voted in at least gives the...
I am in for the 1058. It has the higher stall to race but it actually couples well at lower torque and drive great in town. It also has the better stator compared to the 1056/1057.
Thats my .02 cents
I don't know the setup on that truck, but if they are smaller triples, it should drive and launch fairly similar to what you are use to but with more power all around. If they are larger than it will take some getting used to.
I agree with Andrew on the DPC Koolaid. Maybe try the 11.90 index...
Thank you for the reply. I did price out some pigtails for the 2 sensors but the 6 way connector is not available. I may end up splicing it all together.
When it came to performance parts I have always had the best luck by sending back the part to the guy who built it. Then asking for an estimate before making repairs. You will probably get it fixed the least expensively that way.
If you have lost confidence in the person that built it I would...
I typically choose the aftermarket pistons, specifically the weisco in builds for the ring groove. With a custom or now with weisco shelf stock it is built for a 1.5mm top ring groove and napier second. there are many affordable aftermarket stainless steel rings in this size and that is why I...
There is a smaller harness that connects to a 6 way connector up top, and goes down by the power steering pump to a ground ring, then the oil pressure sensor and then the oil level switch.
I know you make harnesses for the hot rodders.
Do you have any of these used you could sell or any...
The job is pretty complex. I would at least want to have a buddy on hand that has done it before.
I have a brand new lml cp4 and 4 brand new injectors I would sell.
700 for the pump
200 each for the injectors
I would need cores back.
