Cause they'd have to turn down my cartridge to fit into the 1.10, since they didn't offer the 1.10 in 96, just 92. He didnt think a 1.25 or 1.32 would work. And they don't like to weld it in. So I'd either need a new turbo with a 92 to get It to work cause I'm not gonna have them turn mine down for resale value and if it doesn't work there's no going back

They make a 1.10 for the 96mm. I have one here never ran. I dont think its cast by BW, though. It is machined to fit the big turbine from a diff housing. Whether its a 92 or the smaller turbine t6 housing, i dont know. But they make a 1.10 a/r t6 housing for the 96mm turbine.

Currentlt, the 1.10 t6 has to be machined and sleeved for the 96mm, so they're pricey. But there will be another option available soon.

I talked to smokem on the phone for 20 mins. He was sure it didn't wok without machining it

That link I just posted for Danville has a T4 1.10 for 96mm. Actually has them all from .90 to 1.25 T4 for the 96mm

You're missing the point. He currently runs a T4 machined out for his 96mm like the ones in the link you provided. He thinks he is snuffing the charger because of too high of drive pressure. Switching to a true T6 housing that has been machined down to a T4 footprint would allow him to meet that rule still, but alleviate drive pressure big time.

Oh ok. Carry on

Bep makes an open thoat vband style turbine housing for the 96/88 wheel iirc. Its available in a 1.10 ar and all stainless steel.
It may be a pricey project but that vband opening would match up pretty decent to an open throat t4 flange.
It may be hard to get lit or it may light fine you would have to try it.
But that housing from bep even in a 1.0 should be looser than a t4 1.25 cut out for a 96 wheel.

Just check the rules thoroughly because you will have close to 800 $ in it.
