That looks damn good. I love avocado too.

I would love to try a diet like this, but it would pretty much involve me and the wife fixing 2 different meals each day. We are pretty heavy consumer of dairy products in our house.....cheese or another dairy product goes on everything I swear.

I have always been a bigger guy per say, but until the past couple years, injuries were not an issue. So it was easy for me to keep the weight down or take it off easy. But after 3 ankle surgeries and 1 knee. Cardio is not my friend as much as it once was.

But this seems like it would work for me, as it does have alot of the stuff I do like to eat. Just need to be conscious of adding the flavor adders I guess.

Avocados are the ultimate superfood they each contain 6 grams of soluble fiber which literally cleans out your arteries. Cereal contains 2 grams of soluble fiber... The difference between them is cereal is an inflammatory and avocados are not. Avocados are also rich in saturated fat with no carbs which is the exact opposite as cereal lots of carbs and low fat

I'd just have to find a kickassss guacamole recipe and go that route to eat avocado regularly... Even then, I don't see me eating it plain by itself with a fork. :D

I do too, I usually have bread at almost every meal. Sunday made it a month since I had my last. The first week I wanted it badly but tell you the truth a month later I dont miss it.

That's because you were a "sugar burner" and the absence of wheat and grains caused your body to go WTF

Hmmm 3 organic scrambled eggs with 1/2 table spoon organic pasture raised butter and 3 pieces of low sodium organic bacon. So good

How many pounds have you lost so far, Nick? How do you feel compared to before you started the diet? Any changes you've noticed?

I haven't lost any weight however I've gained noticeable muscle mass and during work outs I have incredible stamina. I have much more definition, and I feel so much better.

Thanks eating natural organic whole foods is exactly what Paleo is about. I hate how I feel after eating rice, potato, grains and starchy vegetables. I am a huge believer in the inflammation of certain foods. I plan on doing this for the rest of my life I don't want heart disease or cancer.

Allthough I'm not doing the Paleo diet I've completely cut out sugar, starches, flour, etc. After a couple months I decided to have a cheat meal for Easter lunch. I ate fried chicken, mashed patatoes, butter beans, string bean caserole and a big slice of home made caramel cake. I didnt eat any more than normal as far as volumn goes but I felt absolutely terrible all afternoon. I felt like I was about to bust and could probably have thrown up with little effort. I can eat a meal with no sugar and flour and an hour later run a mile.

Paleo is so simple...

No grain, legumes, processed food or drinks, no dairy, corn, and no/low CARBS.

Eat as much organic, and wild food you can afford. Whole Foods Market is going to be your best friend in this

So no beans??? WTF!! The nearest whole foods is almost an hr away from me:(

No no beans, rice, bread, corn etc... I'm sure your local market would suffice just fine. Make sure you buy grass fed organic beef. Grain fed beef's omega 3 and omega 6 ratios way off grass fed solves this problem. You can also go Primal which is paleo with dairy.
