I'm 5'9 and weigh about 205 would love to weigh 175 again. I've been doing crossfit 5 days a week for a month and a decent diet. I'm already down 10 pounds my first month still have a long way to go though. What is keto diet??

Keto = ketogenic...

Your body naturally burns carbohydrates as its fuel which is bad because it then stores fat... Keto changes your body's way of running. By eating a high fat, high protein , and low or no carb diet your body starts running off its stored fat reserves and weight dumps quickly. It is however not a diet intended to last for years but rather a way to drop considerable weight quickly. Hell I was eating 5-6 times a day losing 2.5-5 lbs a week. Some weeks obviously I didn't lose a lb. but I was impressed

You may want to kick back on crossfit 5 times a week I can't see how your body is able to recover doing such high intensity work outs

The first two weeks were horrible took a long time to recover, but I have noticed that my knees are taking a beating. I'm gonna take a couple days off to let them rest up. I might give that diet a try for a month and see how it goes.

I don't need a diet.. I need to gain weight. I can eat anything and not gain a pound. :rofl:

It's not all about weight gain its more about eating unprocessed, natural and healthy foods. Eat fast food, drink soda and do this for 6 months then go get a blood panel lol.

My wife is doing the pelio diet. Its expensive and I have to basically do it also since she does the shopping and cooking. It seems like I have a lot more energy and am not tired all the time. Seems like its getting more popular though.

I need to do something different. I usually stay around 230lbs ( 6'4" ) which fits me pretty well. But for some reason I have jumped up to 255-260 in a matter of a couple months. I had blood taken yesterday to check my thyroid jic. My diet has not changed but I did stop chewing "again" at the first of the year.

I dont really want to but I need to get back in the gym and get on a strict diet. I dont want to turn 30 in September and be 300 lbs. FML!

Lighter weight and higher reps. I've worked out most of my life, up until 30 years old I did a low rep high weight workout. My joints started bothering me so I switched it up. Wish I had done this years ago. If nothing else do it for a couple weeks and give your body time to recover from the heavy pounding.
