I second this question... For those of us who have no connection points other than sensors and the computer plug ins... How would one wire this in? Just splice in between certain wires?

Thanks Brayden!

I'm glad you guys asked this because I think I'm going to ditch the pass through connectors. You'll just tap into MAP at the C107 camlock connector.

Brayden can you post a pic of the unit? Id like to get one. Thanks

I'm at home.. I've got pictures at the shop.. The ones that I've sent out recently are in TurboBrake enclosures. They're on the site if you want to see the pics. The 5 speed models will all be sent in TurboBrake enclosures until I can get more of the 2nd gen boards made.

isnt that what tow/haul mode is for though?
-True, but when empty, I like the lower shift points of the normal mode otherwise I drive at 2000-2200 before the trans shifts in TH mode.

In my own opinion this product is for people who are looking to get that last .1 at the track.......Not really so people can loaf around town at 1,000rpm locked up because they think its gonna improve their mileage or otherwise gain something else.
-In my opinion, if it can work to increase MPG AND ¼ times, why not. I like loafing round at 1400-1600. And, if it improves MPG who cares if its on the track or not. Not every mod need to be race only. Should I not drive daily with the 500hp tune in my truck because its only for the track? No, it offers the best mpg also and drives great.
First of all you risk crashing your truck the converter might not unlock fast enough if you have to slam on the brakes.
-Doubt that.
Second of all. Its not gonna help your fuel economy.
-Sure it will. Not by much, but any will help. Intake, exhaust, water meth, etc. Not much by them selves, but when every bit is added together, it make a significant difference. Not many 1T duallys getting 17 city/21-22 highway.

Half the time you are driving around town you are in DFCO mode anyway, so its not gonna make one bit of difference.
-DFCO? Don’t know what that is.
3rd, its not good for the transmission primary pump to be running with the converter locked up at such low RPM's.
-But it’s ok in TH mode at the same RPM?
And 4th, the duramax doesnt make any power below 1,900rpm.
-Sure it does. Makes plenty! Tow 10,000 all the time and never run above 2000.
Yes its a diesel. No its not a cummins. You cant drive around at 1,400-1,500rpm locked up and expect the truck to go anywhere; you are actually going to use MORE fuel just because its going to sit there smoking, trying to spool the turbo, but its not going to be able to.
-When I loaf around I don’t expect it to go anywhere. Just steady state cruse at 45 with converter locked would be nice. When in TH at the same speed and TC locked, I accelerate all the time without smoke. I don’t drive around at WOT smoking. Some people do drive with a light throttle.
I drive all the time in TH mode switching between TH and normal to coax the TC to lock at lower speeds without having the truck run at 2000 in TH just to have it locked. I’d like to not do that. If I could have the software to have it lock at very low boost and low TPS, then it would work great for my needs.

i understand what your saying serpa , but the controller as it sits now is only active under WOT/ 18+ psi boost/ 18+ mph .all 3 parameters have to be met for it to command lock up , you would have to talk to Brayden about what your after and see of he can make it for you .i have no clue if it will help you or not .

Didn't I already explain to you how to program your TCM to make the converter lock at part throttle cruising speeds below 45 MPH? Why do you want to spend $450 on something you can do with programming?

Ya but Brayden also mentioned how this unit can be used with nitrous and other applications..
