Just a question probably answered earlier, but would this work with a stock converter or should it be used only for aftermarket ones.
Had a short wire on the old ferd. Forget to flip the switch approaching a stop light, chug, chug, dead engine: flip switch, restart engine.

Stock converter will work OK for a while at moderate power levels.
This shouldn't hurt shafts.. It's still a PWM apply.
