So what are the programmed for? Certian MPH? I think thats awesome! That you can just turn it on. The dodge I had, I put one on it but you had to manual lock it and unlock it when you wanted and if you forgot to unlock it, it would stall the motor when slowing down to a dead stop.

Had a short wire on the old ferd. Forget to flip the switch approaching a stop light, chug, chug, dead engine: flip switch, restart engine.

Stock converter will work OK for a while at moderate power levels.

This shouldn't hurt shafts.. It's still a PWM apply.

x2...I agree...as far as the hard parts are concerned, this isnt any different than when the TCM itself applies the converter clutch.

I did speed the apply up a bit, but it's about like a factory apply... We watched it on the scope and then trimmed a few hundred microseconds off it :D I could make that calibratable as well if people were having issues with wheel spin from a quick apply..

Fuddle converter works very well. I did however have a heck of a time getting it from them. They were having some serious customer service problems a few years ago. I don't know if that has been fixed or not.

If it locks by MPH and 95% throttle, guess it wouldn't work for street driving to lock the tc for increased mpg while driving slow in the city? Interested in having it lock as low as 25-30, but with almost no throttle and less than 5 psi boost.
