I had the opportunity to do another IHI this past week using a batmowheel. It turned out very well and am very excited to hear how the turbo preforms.
This was a complete port/polish of the intake/exhaust, swap stock wheel for batmowheel, and complete rebuild using new bearings/gaskets. Only thing I didn't do was remove the rough casting surface on the intake cover.

Enjoy.

As Duramxd pointed out I included that in the attached thread :thumb:.
I keep using midwest turbo connection b/c they're fast, easy to deal with, and the kits have everything you need.

I'm sure apex would include the same thing I just haven't taken the time to look into them, I'll have to one of these days.

Well so far I love this thing. Turbo spools a bit faster and it cleans up must of the haze she usually leaves at wot. Boost doesn't seem to peak like it did before but I only have two 20 mile freeway runs on it.

James you may not show the same boost nuber when you port stuff out the psi drops a little because its breathing better, your still moving the same amount or a little more your just moving it more efficently now.It should be a touch lower on egts also.

Glad you like it James :thumb:.
When I ran it as a single it did the same thing for me. Boost was down but it's breathing so much better being it has less restriction.

Let us know how if progresses :D

Yes, to be more clear the small turbo is down but the big turbo is pushing more air now. I use to be right at a 50/50 split at 45psi and hold there. Now I hit 40psi split but then the big turbo will keep building boost and to almost 30 now getting me 45psi and climbing. I have to adjust the waste gate some more for this but it seems the big turbo is getting more flow through the small turbo and that's why I'm not seeing a drop in psi. And no, I didn't accidentally adjust the wastegate fooler, it locks in place once set :D

Yup. Intercooler has a little leak that we couldn't get with the welder but no other leaks. It's not enough for a 5psi drop but that's all she pushes on the tow tune. I can hit 50-55 with the wastegate fooler not adjusted right but 45-50 is about I get on this tune. Race tune is 55-60
