Who drives a built dmax and can't clear a $200 debt? The last time I checked my truck shit dollar bills. If you can't afford it get out of the game.

Guess tryin' to run with D gets expensive  . Hell I'm as broke as can be and I could even come up with $200 over the course of a few weeks anyway! Sure as hell before 6 months!

I have done alot of business with forum members here and I am happy to say that every transaction went smoothly. However, if someone hustles me, no matter how trivial the amount of money, I would have no problem flying across the country if necessary to right wrongs. At $200 its not about the money it is the principle.

If this guy is really bailing on a $200 tab then he must really be a piece of shit. Hopefully he has a legit excuse but if not he deserves to be bbq'd. Who drives a built dmax and can't clear a $200 debt? The last time I checked my truck shit dollar bills. If you can't afford it get out of the game. At some point you will **** over the wrong guy and there will actually be consequences. I ran a kids head into a brick wall once for a debt owed...as soon as he got out of intensive care he paid me my money back with interest. Last I head he was doing well and didn't have any outstanding debt.:thumb:
From a legal standpoint, you're on very shaky ground doing that to someone. From a practical standpoint, more people need their heads run into brick walls from time to time to remind them not to screw others over. Glad you had the balls to do it, and that you didn't get into trouble for it.

And I agree, for $200, you might spend that much to collect it, but its about the principle. If these kinds of people get away with it, they'll keep doing it to others.

Id think just getting the heads back to Trubbs would be enough.

Costs us 100+ plus just to fill up a 26 gallon tank of diesel these days....it's obvious the dude won't inconvenience himself to do the right thing. Thanks to Dmaxfireman for taking action. Dude is friends with Dimitri? Makes sense. "Tell me who your friends are ill tell you who you are" I believe the saying goes....

That's what I'm saying, even worse when he kept bragging about how many hours of work he puts in & how great his overtime pay is.
I think a 14 year old kid mowing lawns in The middle of Alaskas winter could even come up with $200 in 6 months.

At this point I still have had no contact (he is online, this thread is at the top of the new/active posts, & he has had to have gotten the pm from the mod)
I am sure he will not be owning up & will probably go start a new life over on duramax forum once he's not longer welcome here.
He still has 11 hours before his 24hr deadline is up tho, just not expecting any contact.

Stories like this piss me off. I do small engine repairs and used sales as a side business. I USED to let people who seemed trustworthy pick up something and pay in the next few days. It became a use it, wreck it, and return it game and even though I'd outright refuse to return the deposit left on obviously misused and broken equipment, it became a money loss, not profit business. I finally got to the point that I didn't care HOW sad your story was. (Late on rent and lost my job and landlord is gonna evict me if I don't mow the yard and my mower broke and.....) TOUGH. Borrow $ from a friend.
If you don't have even ONE friend to loan you a few bucks there's probably a REASON WHY.
I am more active on DF than here, but with many members on both, I wouldn't hesitate to HELP a member out. But for sale items, need payment. If you want to play with payments or layaway, see your bank or wally-world. :D

How is this going to fix anything? How do you suggest he tries to get in touch with him to get this resolved? he is already not returning his call/texts...

As I said I am working with Eric to get this resolved but I need Trubbs new address (so I can make sure there a no delays). Give me a few day to get this worked out...

If everybody says out of it how do you expect him to get paid?

As I said I am talking with him on FB. He told me he sent it out and it came back back as undeliverable. so in order to HELP i need the correct info that way there are no excusses on payment being sent.... Make sense now?:thumb:
