Stories like this piss me off. I do small engine repairs and used sales as a side business. I USED to let people who seemed trustworthy pick up something and pay in the next few days. It became a use it, wreck it, and return it game and even though I'd outright refuse to return the deposit left on obviously misused and broken equipment, it became a money loss, not profit business. I finally got to the point that I didn't care HOW sad your story was. (Late on rent and lost my job and landlord is gonna evict me if I don't mow the yard and my mower broke and.....) TOUGH. Borrow $ from a friend.
If you don't have even ONE friend to loan you a few bucks there's probably a REASON WHY.
