    If you gear the truck so that peak rpm down the track was at peak torque(3000 rpm in the example), you will more than likely lose enough rpm at the end of the run that the charger will snuff.

    I just fixed an LB7 in a kodiak that consumed coolant like crazy. It was putting it into the crankcase and burning it, and would also hyrdolock occasionally. Ended up being a cylinder cracked. Had to sleeve it.

    Take it for a long ride and then check the coolant bottle for pressure. If it wants to geyser all over the place, that's a sign of bad head gaskets. Also if the coolant bottle is blackish in color. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
