    LMM: Steering gear box

I've had my redhead gear box for 6 months now. It's already been through some abuse from 4wheeling and constant hard corners everyday. So far they are holding up pretty well, better than any gearbox I've replaced which is my 3rd set in 60k miles. They are definitely an improvement, steering is...

    Our new trailer

Very nice toy hauler! What's the max gvcw on that? You better get started on your 3 link airbag! As much I would like to make a 4 link rear airbag but there is no fuel tank I could find to fit in the rear that has a capacity of over 40 gal. 3 link seems the best way to go. I'm also looking for...

    MA inspection stations

I'm in Fitchburg. I haven't tried Berlin yet, but I may have found someone in Concord. If that doesn't work out then it'll be Taunton next. I don't want to waste my time driving around different towns trying to find someone to pass. I spoke with a buddy of mine, MA is cracking down on...

    Lift suggestions

I'm on 37's with my 6" and no rubs. It's all about choosing the right wheel. 0 offset will help with no rubbing. My cv has a slight angle. Another big part is fiberglass front fenders, it opens up the wheel well space by probably 15% more. Downside is that your rear tires will rub the bed sides...

Allison deep pan vs. PPE or ATS?

The only advantage I see in deep pan is more fluid capacity. It does not mean it will help to keep it cool, but the fluid stays cleaner much longer reducing the risk of high contamination in low fluid capacity. I'd still keep changing the fluids and filters at the recommended intervals.

    New Colorado ordering

Since the colorado/canyon is in production now, has GM decided if they will be building the ZR2 platform? I surely hope they make one, that would be my ideal vehicle for a DD.

    MA inspection stations

Yea I can get away with the lift by registering it as commercial, that's what most of the inspection stations told me. Problem is that I just paid my registration renewal which is $60 bucks per 2 years. If I register it commercial, it'll be roughly $100 per year not 2 years like a normal...

    MA inspection stations

MA inspection law won't let you pass your vehicle if it is lifted more than 2" over stock. One of MA dumbest vehicle law.
