    MA inspection stations

I'm in need of an inspection sticker in the Worcester county. I've been over 20 local stations within 20 miles and they won't pass me because of my lift. Some stations I know that used to pass people with lifts are now suspended or on parole. Any of you know a place that will pass me? State...

    Steering Play

If you haven't replaced the steering gear, that may be the issue. Stay away from reman steering gears, they're nothing but trouble. I have a redhead steering box, it's holding up pretty well.

    This diff doesn't look good

The axle bearings are definitely on the way out. The rust contaminated the fluid causing cavitation to the bearings. Check the ring and pinion gears as well as the spiders for any cavitation.

    Braided brakelines and slotted rotors

I'm running the ACdelco slotted rotors and EBC yellowstop pads. Definitely a day and night difference to stop my truck on 37" tires. It slows the truck better than my wife's 2011 Acadia. I replaced by brakes and flushed the fluid in late spring and have about 8k miles so far. Done some towing...

    rattle at start up

From what I was told by another member, it may be from the oil pump as part of the normal startup. Once you start it up, watch the oil pressure and see if the rattle goes away once it hits to normal pressure. Mine does the same thing, the rattle happens when it's building pressure and goes away...

    rattle at start up

Does it rattle for a short time like 2 to 3 seconds after starting it and goes back to normal?

    Lifted truck EGT temps

I doubt any of those will benefit that much of a reduction in EGTs. I would suggest you try to get the tune more refined. My truck weighs as much as yours does and I live in hilly conditions and don't really have an issue with extreme EGTs. Try a different tuner to see or have your tuner refine it.

    Lifted truck EGT temps

ARE you POSITIVE you are in 6th gear at 1850 rpm cruising approximately 65 mph? From my calculation by using a gear calculator your information is skewed. Even I know by cruising my own truck with 37" tires and 3.73 gears, it still doesn't sound right. The information you gave me at 1850 rpm...

    New brakes!

After a few months, brakes are awesome. It definitely makes a difference over stock and I find it funny that mine stops way better than my wife's acadia denali.

    Cab and Chassis Fuel Tank?

I swear there were 2 different size tanks in the rear, I believe Adam has a 33 gal tank?

    Cab and Chassis Fuel Tank?

    How many gallons is it?

    Lifted truck EGT temps

Gears does not just help with acceleration but it does take the stress off the transmission and the transfer case. I'm running on 37's and I cruise 800* at 65 mph in 5th gear with nearly no boost. It doesn't get over 1000* on a grade 7 to 8 hill. I'm sure your truck can be tuned a bit better to...

    NP263XHD rebuild kit

Thanks! I won't need to order the shift fork pads since those are already included in the Deluxe bearing & reseal kit from Merchant. Although the bearing and reseal kit from Merchant is much higher than anyone else offers, makes me wonder what is different about their kit.

    NP263XHD rebuild kit

Alright thanks James. Do you happen to have the numbers or the site for the update slider & fork as well as the rear yoke? I checked my rear yoke and output shaft when I got home from work, the yoke shows minimal wear and slides in and out easily but it has a groove from the seal wear, one of...

    NP263XHD rebuild kit

I haven't done the pump rub yet but was going to include that once I get into the transfer case. I'll check my driveshaft yoke before I go ahead and order the parts soon. I think I'll try to put in the updated parts you mentioned when I rebuild it, if there is anything else that shows some wear...

    NP263XHD rebuild kit

That reminds me, whenever I used the 4x4 it did big clunk. It was worse when I used the 4low, clunked so hard that I have to step on the brake hard to keep it from moving the truck. I'll have to look into that. When you replaced your yoke, was it because it was worn from the seal or the spline...

    NP263XHD rebuild kit

There are several kits all over when you Google NP263XHD rebuild kit. Merchant auto is one of them. https://www.merchant-automotive.com/p-882-deluxe-bearing-and-seal-kit-261xhd-263xhd-transfer-case.aspx James, what is special about the updated mode fork & collar? Is this something I may need...

    NP263XHD rebuild kit

I've been searching for a complete rebuild kit for mine due to a driveline vibration. My rear driveshaft yoke at the transfer case moved up and down by hand easily as an indication of driveline vibration. I've noticed some of the vendors does not specify what brand the bearings are, I've seen...

    My Morimoto Projector Retrofit.

Ah thanks. Now I know it's confirmed that just replacing with a better set of hid will not correct the issue. :thumb:
