    Fuel capacity

Think of it as a reserve. It's a good indication to tell you to fill up before you actually run out of fuel. Mine comes on at 20 gal, it gives me an idea how much more I can drive to the next fuel station, especially when towing.

    Odd fuel knock

I have a similar thing going on right now, I can hear it more whenever I'm in 6th gear but don't hear it in the other gears. I'm curious what yours comes out as. I haven't checked my rail pressure yet, hoping it's not the cp3. Have you checked your rail pressure?

    05 silverado 2500 mpg

I get about 12 MPG pulling 10k on 37s with stock gearing, 10-11 mpg pulling 15-20k. You're doing average for lifted trucks. I'd regear it to 4.10 if you do alot of highway towing. 4.56 if you do alot of hills.

I need your broken cv axles!

Let me guess, extended CV shafts for longer control arms for a long travel front suspension?

    - On 3 Intercooler?

You get what you pay for. I can tell the welds are done by a rookie. Probably done by a spool gun. I wouldn't buy it, it won't last.

    New Truck

Very nice. Love the maroon color.

    New Colorado ordering

I felt the same way. Seems too high just for a midsize truck. You can pick up half ton cheaper than that.

Stupid newby AFE 5" exhasut exit question

Magnaflow is the way to go. The 5" starts not too far away from the downpipe. Everything fits well and the clamps are great too. The only thing I didn't like about the exit pipe was it wasn't tucked up nicely to the bed, it hung a but too low for my taste. I took the last section off the...

    Hate thread!

I hate heroin dealers. They should be charged for murder for every person that dies from them handing it to them. Most of them are laced with fentanyl which is a lethal dose.

    Redhead steering box.

I have about 30k miles on my redhead. It's holding up very well after some hard off roading and I take corners like a race car. With all the previous gearbox I've had in the past, I had to keep readjusting them until the output shaft got loose from the bushing being worn out. Redhead corrected...

    Alignment issues

Most town fair shops blows. Everyone i know who had their alignment done at various town fair shops have the same issue. Look around for a well known alignment shop. It took me a while to find the right shop to do mine because of my wheel setup.

    BlueCross BlueShield

I hate how health insurance plays games with us. In the last 5 years, my wife and I have paid over 10k in medical bills out of our pocket and that is not including our hearing aids. What irks me the most is they do not cover hearing aid which is a medical equipment but covers a cochlear implant...

    Rear half of body weight

Can't seem to find it Tom. Unless you know the title name, it might narrow it down better.

    Rear half of body weight

Minus axle and leaf springs. I'm trying to gather up my parts list to build my full airbag rear suspension with either a 3 link offset wishbone or 4 link rear if I can find a plastic fuel tank that goes behind the rear axle with a capacity of more than 30 gals. I'm tired of my rear end squatting...

    Rear half of body weight

Does anyone know the weight of the rear half of the truck, I.E, the bed with frame, fuel tank, hitch, bumper? I'm looking at a set of airbags, it has a minimum of 20psi @ 1500lbs to achieve my ride height. So that's 3klbs at 20 psi, I'm not too sure if it would make my rear end too high at that...

    Transmission problems

Did you make sure there was no contaminants or something in the lower hose?

I agree, it'll make my 18x9 wheels look better.

    Lift suggestions

12.5 is just fine for a 37" tires. It's better in the snow and in the rain. I had a 13.5 and all it did was hydroplane all over the place whenever it rains and slips a lot in the snow. The only thing it did good was in the sand and dry asphalt.

    Our new trailer

You figured out how many inch bags would work for us? I figured 18b might be good to give us extra droop if needed. My bump stop mount on the axle to frame measures 12". Is yours the same?

How many inch is the lift? Looks pretty good.
