Rear half of body weight

Does anyone know the weight of the rear half of the truck, I.E, the bed with frame, fuel tank, hitch, bumper? I'm looking at a set of airbags, it has a minimum of 20psi @ 1500lbs to achieve my ride height. So that's 3klbs at 20 psi, I'm not too sure if it would make my rear end too high at that pressure since I do not know the weight of the rear end. The total weight on the rear tires does not count since the axle is not part of the weight, it has to be the upper part of the body. The airbag manufacturer recommends not to go under 20 psi if I'm trying to achieve ride height unloaded, not sure why though.

Missed where you said minus rear axle. Axle is what 300lbs?

Minus axle and leaf springs. I'm trying to gather up my parts list to build my full airbag rear suspension with either a 3 link offset wishbone or 4 link rear if I can find a plastic fuel tank that goes behind the rear axle with a capacity of more than 30 gals. I'm tired of my rear end squatting like a mother when I tow my triple axle trailer because I have deaver rear springs. Just want to improve my towing driving characteristics, offroad and on road as well.

Since you said it was roughly 3k, I guess I may have found the right bags to use.

Look thru some of Trent Nell's old threads. If you find the one where he did the four link, I think he posted weights of everything he removed.

Can't seem to find it Tom. Unless you know the title name, it might narrow it down better.
