295/70/18 fit on obs w/o lift

Turn them up more for a bigger tire, it'll ride like crap and you have more front end issues. Do your self a favor, stick with the 285. If you want to go bigger, get a suspension lift. Someone had a 6" RCD for sale recently for $800.

    Ppe transmission just rebuild problem

Hmmm... how many transmissions have you built that had issues. Enough to say you need to stop touching them until you have a real trans builder to teach you about the Allison.

    2016 2500HD DMAX Steering woes-

Try taking it to Henry Brown. When I lived in AZ, they always fixed it right even under warranty.

SS brake hose for lifted trucks

I wouldn't call it cheap lol. I had the fluid flushed last year when I did the rotor and pads. Now I gotta replace the hub seal since it got cooked from that sticking caliper. I'm changing the differential fluid too, don't trust the oil after finding out how hot that side got.

SS brake hose for lifted trucks

Looks like it should work better than the one in my truck. Just ordered it. I'm replacing all of my calipers. One of them was sticking last week which made my rim so hot it nearly burned my hand, I checked it with my infrared temp gun, rim was 255 degrees.

SS brake hose for lifted trucks

Can't find any reliable source if the Russel SS hoses will fit on lifted applications. Tried my local hose shop, they don't do SS brake hoses . I'm not sure if those hoses would work when the truck hits full droop. I've had my rear at full droop and the brake hose would be literally...

    Heatwave Phoenix

It's pretty similar to Florida in the summer. Even MA gets like that hot but it only last between 2 days to a week. Yesterday was 85 with some humidity which wasn't too bad that felt like 105 in AZ heat.

    Heatwave Phoenix

One of the main reason I left AZ. 83 here and it's better than that egg frying heat.

    Noises 5spd under decel

What's the main reason for DEX VI being junk? Too slippery for the friction material?

LMM: Finally got in the 10's

Awesome Kyle! Shit was moving, and that's just the beginning. You'll definitely get close to 9's once the tuning is figured out.

    Rear Diff

You'll be fine with the AAM tracrite. The Detroit is more geared to aggressive drivers with offroad.

    2017 Duramax

Nice. I don't do the marines , just earthmoving. Used to do trucks not that long. Now I just do powertrains (engines, transmission, axles, etc) and hydraulics (cylinders & hammers).

    2017 Duramax

The point I made was there is a HEUI pump. Yes I do know that it uses it to pressure the oil, the injection pump is in the injector itself. I work on CAT for a living. The person who thought CAT had a injection pump, I was stating it used a HEUI pump that is mistaken for an injection pump. Sorry...

Obviously you don't know much about CAT or what a HEUi is.

    oil temp sensor install

How big of a cooler should it at least to control the temps? After seeing threads popping up about oil temps, it's starting to make me realize how hot my oil is from the 6+ hours of constant towing. I would be using the setrab cooler, can't beat their quality.

    2017 Duramax

CAT used heui pumps. They weren't reliable.
