reached 119 yesterday at my house. thought my A/C unit would be running non stop but actually kept up well. see how it does the rest of the week.

heat didnt stop me from pulling my sand car engine, swapping parts around and installing a bigger engine into it though . my big swamp cooler works awesome for days like this, got up to 95* at the hottest in there...... its when the humid season comes i quit working outside lol

excuse the pink bike, brian leaves his bike here for when the cummins breaks down and he has to get back to work/home.

I like the humidity over a dry heat like that. 97* last week with 95% humidity. It sucks but the beach is just down the road and I don't get shut down for 6 months for snow.

i know people give me shit for saying "i like a dry heat". humidity gets up like that and i want to shoot my self. out in the garage working, sweating your ass off and just cant seem to get cool. fore head gets raw from wiping it on your sleeves, air is heavy and thick feeling, sweat dripping inside my welding helmet, i just hate it lol. right now i can run the swamp cooler and long as its blowing on or near me, i damn near dont sweat and the garage actually cools down to something decent inside. So then im left with about 2 months of misery and 10 months of fun . im about to pick up a boat here soon so that should make the other 2 months a little better

It's pretty similar to Florida in the summer. Even MA gets like that hot but it only last between 2 days to a week. Yesterday was 85 with some humidity which wasn't too bad that felt like 105 in AZ heat.

Inside for the day, the drastic change from 115 to inside of 78 can a shock on you if you're in the midst of heat exhaustion or worse heat stroke cooling down to quick hurts, a lot. I've had both a number of times throughout my life having been born here, lived and worked outdoors since 1962...

I just spent a week up in Mammoth Lakes and at Yosemite. It was 39 at night and averaged about 55-65 during the day. Come back to work in this. Who the hell the left the oven on and the door open. Its 112 out and I hate my dark blue plumbing truck. I have to have gloves on just to open the bins and climb into the roll top.

I don't know how you guys out west stay hydrated, I feel like i dry out from the inside out and can never drink enough water. Humidity sucks more though for sure.

113 here in riverside , still at 106 at 6 pm . **** working outside . I spent the day at huntington on sunday and it was perfect 80's but still warm. I wish i was there today. the next few weeks look pretty dam hot . I want spring back.
