    I actually talked to Wagler last week about a belt problem and they told me they are currently in the process of having a tensioner finished for the lb7’s soon

    Just wanted to chime in. My 01 Sierra SLT 2500HD has auto climate control. But I’d agree I don’t see it on many vehicles during that year range

    Strange noise at idle in gear

    I’ve had a couple different noises with these trucks. One was air intake duct against fender liner and the other was the heater pipes by firewall area. And both only did it in gear in my stall. Hope this helps if any

    Probably smoked the 456 clutch due to converter clutch worn out and scored the pump housing. ‘16 or 17 model years had an issue with snapping the 456 hub clean off the shaft to give similar symptoms but no burnt clutch smell.     Yeah weird. Either it was a pending code in the ecm or your check engine light is not working properly. But you’d fail functional test too. But I agree, have a shop look at it.. and not just any ol’ shop

    These are the pads I have currently. Approx 10k on them. They have a good bite and I don’t get any fade. I don’t really do much towing for a comment on that aspect. But seem like a decent pad for the price
