I don’t think so. That should only be a single wire on the parking brake itself. If no codes of course. And I think only other thing is brake fluid level switch that will turn park brake light on with no codes. I could be wrong though.- KyleC4

LML engine knock
So did you ask about piston to bore clearance seems loose or piston to wrist pin? I think I keep confusing myself when I read this. Not enough coffee yet. I’ll ask around some people that know of or have had issues. Only 16 I had issue with was pushrod broke where cup and shaft are mated.- KyleC4

Fuel cap
I’d be thinking more so venting issue. Not to get far off topic or thread steal from what you are asking but I had an L5P not too long ago come in for a fuel gauge concern and the driver side of fuel tank had been sucked inward. Vent line was full of fuel.- KyleC4

High Beam Circuit Not Working
The dash indicator for high beam is separate from high beam circuit. It’s wired to high beam switch as for signal to be commanded on. And then BCM just tells IPC to illuminate that indicator. I guess you can rule out your BCM being bad by back probing the control circuit for high beam. It’s... -

And make sure what they offer is through the dealership and what’s through the manufacturer. Only saying that because you mentioned lifetime power train coverage. We have a dealer out here that’s doing 10yr 200k powertrain coverage but vehicle must be service at dealer at their recommended...- KyleC4

Only giving insight for 2019 L5P. It’s a Denali 3500 and gets used for hauling the 3 horse trailer with living quarters. After 20k miles no issues and just can’t find anything I don’t like about it. Neither can the owner (wife). We got it with the “puck” system for towing so it’s easy to swap in...- KyleC4

Everyone is describing the same situations that are happening all over. The panic that’s in people and how they react due to fear and stress settling in on them. If you jumped it and it started smoking or getting hot then I’d think something is shorted to ground. If you replace fuses do they blow immediately? How did you jump circuits for starter check? The amperage a starter draws is quite a bit and will cause other circuits to overheat if you jumped... -

The first plug pictured, isn’t that the one that goes to driver side fuel rail pressure regulator ? Or is it the one that goes to the valley cp4? Second one I think is intake temp sensor. The thing too with the LML is some circuits are 5V ref circuits so if there is an issue on any one circuit... -

At key on if there is the message even before cranking then I’d think there is something electrical going on. May want to check around to make sure you didn’t leave anything unplugged. Someone you know have a scan tool that could swing by and read codes? -

Well I’m going to throw something out of left field here. If trailer mechanically appears ok, what about trailer wiring? Could something possibly be back feeding the circuits causing your truck to drive poorly......? That’s all I can think that would be different between yours and buddies...
