    Are you sure Ben? 2000 model year Chevrolet Silverado 2500 light duty. I'm fairly certain the 5 speed was offered in the 2000 2500C/K, but not in the Silverado. I could be wrong but there some that were not offered with a manual transmission; 1500HD being another one. I'm not talking about CPO.

    IT would be a lot of work. Let's hope that rack holds up. As long as you aren't running huge, sticky meats up front you might be okay.

    Factory is 6.5". I ran the shallow/slim Infinity Reference. The JL Audio 6.5" components are awesome. I had them in my '02 and '05.

    Different wheel and SWC harness. Not that easy to come-by, but can be done. It would much easier and cheaper to get a new head unit with a wired remote.

    The SAS is going to happen on the 2000 CHUM soon. The way ahead is plan is an SAS on the 2008 DMAX. Both will get a D60. The 205 won't hold-up behind a near stock 24 Valve? I'm out $0 on the 205 but if I have to switch trans/x-case. She might see a notch and drag radials instead of a D60.

    I'm not really planning on bombing out my 24-valve. I just want to do a straight axle late model Chevy. I think I'm trying to set a precedent with how many things were never meant to be in my truck. This project also lets me experiement and learn before I try the swap on my DMAX.
