Allison behind a Cummins

I know I know. I just got an odd answer from Suncoast on this. I figure this would be a fitting place to ask.

I want to put an Allison behind my Cummins. I sourced the 1000 6 Speed, same as behind my Duramax. I just want to know if it will live behind my 24 Valve. I am not planning to run this Cummins hard or even break the 350 HP mark. This is a driver that is being straight axle swapped with a '99 Cummins, Allison 1000, 261HD and D60 going up front.

Any input? I'm also trying to source a T/C which is where the odd answer from Suncoast came in, "It won't live behind that Cummins; Allison is too quirky." Precision seems to be the answer, so far.

The Alli will hold just fine behind the Cummins. Scott at Destroked took 2nd place last year at the Diesel Power challenge with his F250 running a Cummins and an Alli. Precision converter will handle the power.

Thanks Mike. Hopefully Precision gets back in touch with me tomorrow. Then I can get back to tracking down the rest of the parts.

I just read that again. I was referring to Suncoast on the funny sales pitch. Wow, I didn't even go where I think that was inferred.

This has been one of those days, though.
