    Crazy tire idea

You can get speed rated snow tires , the snow tires police vehicles run are still speed rated up to 149 mph , but I am sure there would be some limmits on sizing . I have no clue other than that , I know snow tires are usually a sotfer rubber compound , and have siping , I think they would work...

Help: S472 twins with LB7 stocker

The exducer is a 88 , most refer to it as a 96 because thats the inducer size ( turbine OD ) the turbo itself is not the problem but not nothing else about the kit so its hard to help with out more detailed info , better start checking for leaks , and also checking to see what your commanding...

I have had good luck with my II 120% pump , it has worked fine and with it being in my dual cp3 setup it always flowed plenty of fuel , it now resides in my dads truck as a single CP3 . For any one looking at the Floor It Diesel pumps , we are a dealer for John now and IMOP he puts the...

    Billlet S480

The answer on re balancing very's greatly , Some say as long as the comp wheel is balanced its OK , but when i put a billet wheel in one of our turbo's I have them rebalanced , they are never out far when we have it re-done but it can make a difference between getting 15k or 30k miles before...

Help: S472 twins with LB7 stocker

need to pressure test the system and rule that out first , second I would need some info on what your running for tuning , depending on the fueling 30 psi may be very low or "normal" , who built the kit ? I would not tune your waste gate strictly on your drive pressure readings , there are...

    S366 Turbo Question

You better have aloooooot of fuel , and a few extra turbo's to swap in when it pops , but yes with enough fuel the billet S366's have hit those numbers , but its being pushed very hard to do so . Its best to pick a turbo that can hit the desired power in the "sweet spot" of the map , at...

    S366 Turbo Question

Depending on engine mods to hit the power level you've posted you will likely need more than a standard S472 , I would say min a S475 , the S472 would maybe hit that # but would take a great deal of fuel to get you there , and either will be running close to there limit at 850 hp with out...

    Performance Cam Question

I usually shift a truck with that combo at around 3600 on the 12 , 2-3, 3-4 and 3700-3800 on the 4-5 . maybe more if I am tuning it in person and can feel how hard it is pulling at 3800, but with a stock engine I wouldnt go much higher than 3800 .

    S366 Turbo Question

I would say the S472 is going to run around 150-200 deg cooler at 600 hp , depends on whether its a billet S366 or cast, turbine size , ect. There are so many variables to EGT's that its impossible to answer dean on, but that number is good enough for purchasing comparisons .

    Performance Cam Question

There are other benefits to cams besides peak power , but in a nut shell IMOP you need to decide what RPM you expect to run before a cam can be decided on , if you plan to stay under 4k and have a decent charger a mild cam would work good , if you plan to go higher a bigger cam could net you...

    main studs

X2 , I have ran plenty with out them so it can be done , but considering the bolts need to be replaced any way ( one time use / torque to yield ) the extra cost to do main studs in worth it IMOP , and don't even change the cost of a build by more than a few hundred dollars once you subtract the...

    S366 Turbo Question

The S466 will be about the same as the S366 , a tad more due to the larger turbine , but not all S466's have the same exducer size , so if its the "box" wheel it will be close , if its a sled pulling model with a 100mm + exducer it could be 200 HP more depending on specifics .
