    Trans cooler setups

I really think a front mounted one would be more efficient, you just can't match the airflow that a moving truck has with a fan. But a fan can cool the fluid while sitting still, which a front mount cannot do.

    Trans cooler setups

These are two setrab coolers in the bed with fan setups on them. I am running about as much line pressure as it can make with a 2600 stall. I see about 120 over ambient the majority of the time. I am planning on doing away with the fans and moving the coolers up in front of the radiator behind...

The only issue I have with that is the mA in this log that is jumps at is still up in the 900 range and 45000mm3. It is not at the bottom cells yet. It does surge but not cyclical, just a wild pull when the rail goes full bore.

Any other thoughts about what could be causing this? The FPRs are obviously going wide open when the rail spikes even though they are not commanded to, the controller is brand new and I just redid the power and ground to it, which didnt help. The FPRs are both LBZ's and supposed to be new.

    Upgrade: GT4094r v S366/74 Doublebat

Would be a good idea. You won't see 50 psi unless you are really fueling it hard.

    Valley turbo

A lot more fun. Hits so much harder.

    Triple S472's

My 472 over two 366s spools very nice on the street. For a street truck I don't see much need to go any bigger.

    Upgrade: GT4094r v S366/74 Doublebat

I run the bullseye 366 on my truck. It is a fantastic charger. Spools easy and sounds wild. Pushed my cc to a 12.05 on stock fuel.

Would suck if that was the case, it is a brand new fingers controller. It doesn't do it on smaller pulse tunes, I'm assuming because the regulator isn't opening as much. Could it be bad regulators?

So I am having a strange problem that I can't figure out. Rail pressure will track right along pretty as can be until I put my foot in it, then it will lag a little bit, the regulator mA starts to compensate for it, then all of a sudden the rail will max out. When it does this it pulls like...

Little highway pull. Tune 2, about 1500usec. Blasted a boot off. Built motor lly: http://youtu.be/HuukwLTFOQ4

This thing is brutally loud with the passenger window down. With it up it is actually quieter at cruise than the stack.

Eventually it will be a true 4 inch downpipe with the wastegate dump out the fender. He had it going from the turbos to 3 inch pipes, then merging into a 3 inch pipe for about 18 inches, then going into the 4 inch. That just isn't enough flow.

It doesn't smoke bad unless I try and make it smoke. It almost always has a little haze when I crowd the throttle. They are 100s. I drive it pretty much everyday, except today because it is snowing like crazy. Even has the baby seat in the back.

I blew the original downpipe off yesterday, guess 3 inches isn't enough for that kind of hp. So here is my redneck fix. Haven't driven it yet but at idle it sounds rude. Its hard to tell but those come very close to the edge of the fender. Don't judge me. Haha.

It isn't bad at all. Not as nice as my 366 but not bad. Doesn't really make any boost under 2000rpm, but the converter is loose enough that isn't much of an issue. Once it comes online though, traction becomes an issue quickly.

Working with kory to get this dang surge figured out. The truck sometimes pulls hard, other times it surges and bucks like a bastard.

Getting the tuning sorted out. Truck had some bad drive pressure leaks and a bad boost leak. It is shifting great though. This is tune 1, a 1450usec tune. And yes it broke traction at 70 when the converter hit. Built motor lly tune 1: http://youtu.be/hxb9SKXhjK4
