Looking to upgrade current GT4088r and sell said 4088. I have two options of comparable cost.

GT4094r
Pro:
1. Direct swap.
2. Low chance of failure/rebuild necessary
Con:
1. Less CFM.
2. Potentially more lag? (not sure which a/r works best. Assume .95)

S366/74 .91 Doublebat w/race cover
Pro:
1. More CFM.
2. Cheaper to rebuild
Con:
1. Higher chance of failure IF pushed hard
2. Requires slight mod to downpipe, need spacer, relocate oil feed

Looking for great DD characteristics.
Seems easy enough to direct swap gt4094r and be done with it....am I selling myself short by not going with s366?

I think I'd be happier with s366 given that I have no intention to push its limits...

My GT4094R has a Danville wheel in it, great all around charger. I have the 1.06 T4 exhaust housing. I have towed, drag raced, and sled pulled with this charger over 50k miles on it.

The only con I see is the cost to rebuild.

I run the bullseye 366 on my truck. It is a fantastic charger. Spools easy and sounds wild. Pushed my cc to a 12.05 on stock fuel.

I run a s464 DB to tow a 40ft toy hauler and spools really well. Plenty of power for dd. Moonshine tuning made a huge difference in how the truck runs. Have tried several other tunes and Tony M in my opinion has the best all around tuning. May not be the highest hp tune but has the most use able power from bottom to top end. Guessing 700+ hp DD

Thanks. I'll upgrade thrust bearing.

Any significant difference between straight blade billet & double batmowheel? I may be able to save a few hundred bucks if I stay with straight blade billet wheel.

I've been out of turbo talk for many years...
