    I did head gaskets, studs and set the lash on my truck and I'm only 20 so don't get too scared. On the AC system just put rubber plugs or caps off like gear oil bottles in the open ports. You will want to have a shop draw a vaccum on it for at least 45 minutes before re-charging.

    Yes, flashing in the wrong OS will cause that. there is a difference in how far the starter gear moves between OSes.

    You've obviously never worked on a 12v cummins. That's the way to go when adjusting the pump. It will shut the truck off INSTANTLY without any possible negative effects like unplugging wires. To the op, dude just take it to a shop and get it diagnosed, quit wasting your time and money.

    Links not working, it has to do with the transfer case output speed sensor. Make sure its plugged in right.

    I would just straight up switch the ecms. Idk what they mean by precharge pump either, couldn't decide if they ment power steering pump or the thing on the firewall.
