I feel your pain, I'm a full time tech as well. I had a valve not seating after head gaskets and studs on my truck. FML P.S., on the cups that is why I had the machine shop take care of mine!- Bustedknuckles

Suggestions for torx bits

Thanks man, yep same guy, he was the only one there and that's my brother in the picture. Wonder wtf he is doing with all those parts? The engine had basically everything he said it had except injectors....- Bustedknuckles

Bought a triple turbo duramax!
Fortunatly for MD-dmax my friend doesn't feel like he got ripped off too bad because he got a nice truck for a decent price, he also had a official looking paper printed up my buddy had to sign saying he was buying it as is, (probably something his gfs dad hooked him up with) so I'm not sure the...- Bustedknuckles

Bought a triple turbo duramax!
^ melted Socal piston. ^ messed up valves, both on #2. It also had stock injectors. My buddy hasn't gotten the bottom end apart so I'm not sure if it has rods but I would think so as it still had the Socal dampener and pushrods and Socal pistons.- Bustedknuckles

It got a stock engine put in., ill update the thread today. we got it apart and it has a melted piston and effed up valves and stock injectors...- Bustedknuckles

Yea but he didn't a bunch of other stuff at the same time so its not a fair comparison. I will say they sound really cool, we had a BMW stock turbo Lb7 in the shop last week that sounded good.- Bustedknuckles
