    As i said in the other thread i highly doubt there is anything electronically wrong. I would check compression and make sure the cam and crank reluctors are installed correctly.

    Also start a new thread just for this problem, I think at this point we can rule out electronics and that doesn't leave much to check as far as finding what's setting the code.

    Step back n let it sit for a week. In the mean time start asking around and find a GOOD diagnostic shop to take it to. Also take a long look at that second pic I posted, there's some good info there.

    This guys issue was fixed by replacing the ECM. this is off a tech website the shop I work at is subscribed to.

    Snap on will check the codes but a tech 2 is ideal as it is factory. You need to hold the positive and negative together the reset the ECM.

    There's nothing wrong with running it on wd40 actually, starting fluid is a no-no though. The fact that it runs on alternate fuel tells me the engine and sensors are fine, and 7000 psi of rail tells me its capable of getting fuel. So either it cant burn the fuel (bad fuel) or its choosing not...

    Yeah, I have 2 friends that run them on there cummins and love them because they totally got rid of the drone on highway. My buddy built me one for free but I havn't got it installed yet. All it is is a piece of auger flighting welded inside pipe. FTE is the brand btw for the guy that asked.

    That is exactly what happened, i ruined that washer and the washer with tabs. :o I tried to update the thread yesterday with a picture but tapatalk wouldn't cooperate.

    I'm doing front axle seals on a Chevy 1500 at work. Got the seals done no problem and suddenly realized I had a part in the pan and I have no idea where it came from. Can anyone on here help me out? Its cone shaped and about 1 3/4 inches across.

    You should be able to get 1500 for it. Put it on powerstrokearmy. The 6.4 and 6.7 guys go nuts over them.
