As i said in the other thread i highly doubt there is anything electronically wrong. I would check compression and make sure the cam and crank reluctors are installed correctly.

Well if the gauge moves the cam sensor is good. Are you sure you got it timed perfect? I don't know too much about the Duramax motor but I know on other engines if they are not in time it will throw a code happened on a 240 I did years ago and the Ol lady's stratus when I changed the timing belt.

Here's Here's a question would the cp3 cause the problem with the circuit somehow?

Here's what I changed outside the short block
Cp3 is new in the valley
Ficm is now dry
Fprv removed and plugged junction block
Powder coated upper oil pan and front cover and intake runners

Truck runs when I disconnect the fpr harness cam code is gone and just have a regular performance code as it's not plugged in does this with stock tune modded tunes 2 different ecms a different harness different fpr I even tried adding a ground

What's the code again? do you have the full description? You said you deleted the fprv right? And when you unplug the fpr harness it runs? Maybe it won't run with it deleted. Is there any tuning the goes into getting rid of the valve to bypass the code? Sorry for all the questions.

p0341 Check crank
tooth number at
CAM edge
Camshaft Position [CMP]
Sensor Performance
10 <= Crank tooth at CAM edge <= 14 14 < Crank tooth at CAM edge or
Crank tooth at CAM edge < 10
Ignition On Not in powerdown mode
Keyontime>0.5sec Engine speed > 60rpm
No related malfunction
In Syncro_Mode
15 failures out of 20
samples Every crank

and no deleting the fprv has no codes related to it and defiantly has nothing to do with the current issue. its like the guys with lly+ doing a race plug

heres a list of what I have tried so everyone is on the same page

different ecm
new cam and crank sensor
different wiring harness
different cam reluctor wheels tried 2 others
swapped fprs
tried adding ground from engine to frame
I have ohmd out the wires from the cam sensor plug to ecm pins good except for one odd issue with the power from the c2 connector pin 44 but I put a new wire in that has continuity so its getting power had 11v
tried a ats dual pump controller for kicks and giggles
I have cleaned every block ground till shiny and used some grease to insure good connections for grounds
tried stock tunes modded tunes no change

I unhooked the ground for the fpr on the passenger side of the engine black with green strip and the fpr harness still plugged in and still cam code....

I do remember my motor mount on the drivers side the bolt I put threw was hitting the frame and I kinda had to suck it down the last 1/8'' could that bolt be dong something with the grounding the ecm isn't liking?

It has to be something simple. Just don't give up on it. You will figure it out one way or another. I will keep racking my brain on it. I'm really surprised no one else has chimed in here.

The engine shouldnt be grounded through the motor mounts. It should have its own ground strap. It won't hurt anything if it does ground there but it should still have its own ground strap.
