    If I can find a sweet deal on a set of used ones I will but otherwise it's not worth it for me. My goal is a sweet looking, good running, reliable daily driver. So far it has never let me sit once in over 4 years at over 500 hp to the wheels. I figure if a $300 set of rods will work for my goals...

    Look down in the oil supply hole and check to see if it spun the cam bearing. There should be like a little cat eye looking slit in there that the oil supply to the turbo comes through.

    I pulled mine in after work at 5:30 and drove it home at 3:00 am. That included two injector cups pulling out and dropping the injector bore brush into the cylinder lol Edit. Sorry that was just injectors, not a top end swap!

    Another slow day at work yesterday gave me time to install new foam, leather and seat heater in my driver seat bottom. I bought all the parts from theseatshop.com and am very happy with it all. I wish I would have done a new seat back cover too because now it doesn't quite match...

    That doesn't sound like head gaskets to me. Id be getting a shop to make 100% certain thats what was wrong.

    Probably a bad controller. I'd try swapping a known good one in before trying too much stuff.

    I agree that the payout should be a lot higher for as much as it does for the magazine but it looks like a total party! And its very entertaining, love it or hate it, its fun to follow.

    I cant stand excessively loud music either. Nothing more annoying than a live band at a restaurant thats cranked up so loud you cant talk... My truck has dual exhaust and a muffler, its far from loud! I didn't mean to offend you with what I said, it was a honest joke...
