    I got my first CC at 19 and at 23 have a paid for modded duramax, modded 08 Saab, 08 raptor 700r, snap-on box full of tools, plus tons of other toys and a nice house with a garage. Never had a payment in my life till the house, it sucks! I'm probably the exception though. LOL

    Nice! I have black wheels on my truck and am over it. Got my eyes open for a nice set of chrome ones with good tires that someone wants to trade even up.

    I don't really think there is a school per se. He has proven that he is capable and understands how to properly do paint restoration and so the chemical guys approve him to use there stuff.     I got a local professional detailer to coat mine with Opticoat pro. Its basically a clear coat that you apply like a wax and he said my wheels should be good without excessive maintenance now. He used professional grade stuff that only a liscensed detailer can get which he said is a lot better...

    Haha yeah I've been a tech for 7 years. I know all about having dirty hands. If you have a nice smooth wave you are good unless the whole motor is low.

    You should find a shop that can do the compression test with a lab scope and amp clamp. Then you don't even have to get your hands dirty. They should be able to do it in like 15 minutes. Check the exhaust side of the turbo for oil.

    Sounds like the turbo to me on the smoke thing. The pop is probably from one cold cylinder.

    Yeah but mine is a Lb7. LMM rods are proven to hold 550 hp all day which is enough for me till I double my income. I could pay cash for a built motor right now but it wouldn't be extra money and I'm not gonna put myself in financial danger over a truck!
