Low Oil Pressure?

So I have been battling low oil pressure since I got my motor put back together, I put a brand new OEM oil pump in with the motor.

The symptoms are I will start it cold, and oil pressure is around where it should be, but then as it heats up my oil pressure drops down to around 13-15psi at idle. I only notice it happens when I run it consistently for a longer period of time. at 2000 rpm's it reads around 30 psi.

Tomorrow I am going to get an oil temp gauge to install, but has anyone else ever had similar issues? I think it might have something to do with my bottom end being filled, which could be making my oil run hotter which would make it thinner. I run 15w-40.

Try a different oil to start. Schaeffers is awesome.

I should add, upon cold startup (70* coolant temp) it reads around 72psi. As the motor warms up it will begin to run lower and lower the longer I run the motor, until it idles at around 15 psi.

Should be 21-23 at idle what worries me is at 2000rpm it should 55-60
