I was taking a quick look at your layout, and assuming 8#/gallon for water and 7#/gallon for fuel (this is quick math weights, but close), you have 6260# over the gooseneck on that trailer (not including tank weight, etc.). Be careful with weight and balance. That seems like a lot of weight on... -
Better quality booster lines?
Really, LOUDER!! The braided SS with teflon lining does not dampen the pump noise. You really hear the whine when you hit a lock when the wheel is all the way one side or the other... Add a solid drag link and the pump complains more in the parking lots.:roflmao::roflmao:- BlkMax

Help: Buying a Code Reader.......Questions
I'm not sure, but if that is what you want to do, you may be able to do that with EFI Live, but it will cost a license for each truck you reprogram. You need to talk to someone smarter than me about unlocking 6th gear. I have only played with the ECM's with EFI Live, never the TCM's.- BlkMax

I dont know if this is the one I purchased, but I do have a knock off Tech II. It works good for doing everything except uploading OS stuff to each of the modules. For what most folks need it for it allows you to have most of the functionality of the dealerships. BTW, where are you at?- BlkMax

Tips to install new exhaust manifolds and up pipes
Every time I have done up-pipe bolts I have resorted to using a porta-power jack from the floor to the end of the breaker bar. It's not pretty, but I keeps me from being so out of position when trying to break the bolts from the up-pipe to the turbo loose.- BlkMax

LLY: how to remove LLY Turbo?
If you worried about under hood temps after removing the heat shield, get a blanket from Levi. He makes some awesome stuff, and you really can touch the outside of the blankets after running it hard for 2 hours!! I have them on both trucks. :thumb::thumb: -

How did you check the head gaskets? Is the top radiator hose hard after cold soaking all night? If so, then you have a head gasket problem. -

I can tell you for certain that an S300 primary works well for towing. I have never had an S400 as a primary.- BlkMax

I like the s366 as a primary. I have a gated HTT T3 S366 with a SS hot side, and an ungated S366 T4 on 2 different LB7's. The gated one is tripled on BlkMax.... bent rods and all. I have the ungated on Emma, and like how it works. If $$ is your main issue, I would go with a T4 S366 74, 0.91...- BlkMax

If you didn't get it yet, check the ground wire to the block down low on the passenger side. All sorts of bad things happen if that is loose. -
Held diagnosing an LB7
One thing to check is fuel filter. If it has junk in it, the engine will defuel to try to save the CP3, It is a good idea to change that every 20K, regardless of engine series. -
LLY: Help! Parasitic battery drain problem
Do you have an autostart? They are great, but can cause issues with battery drain. -
Cup trouble
Well that might work, but I'm a firm believer in using the correct tools. You can usually find the correct Kent Moore tool on ebay. if the cups stick to the injectors, leave them on and just return them with the injector cores. Let someone else take the cups off the cores. -
