This is my first post and would like to thank everyone for years of priceless information i have got from this site. I have a 03 with 260K on it the injectors where replaced and 140K by the dealership and I cant pay that again so tore into myself. Three of the four cups on the driver side pulled out with the injectors and are seized on there pretty good. I have not got into passenger side yet. I was advised to pull the fourth cup and tried using the concrete anchor method and have been able to apply a lot of upward force on the cup with no success. Do i need to spend the money on the tool? Can I use something on the outside rim and rap it with a hammer to possibly break the Loctite bond at the bottom of the cup. I have purchased all new cups and injectors. I hate to leave it now especially after i have messed with it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I recently did my my injectors on one of my trucks & couldn't get a sleeve anchor local so I started looking around on the search engines for alternatives & found this video
It worked great for me

Well that might work, but I'm a firm believer in using the correct tools. You can usually find the correct Kent Moore tool on ebay. if the cups stick to the injectors, leave them on and just return them with the injector cores. Let someone else take the cups off the cores.
