Lb7 cp3 replacement
It's a rectangular shaped o-ring. They can be a pita getting it shoved back down to seat. I've always replaced those, too much time spent to have a leak. If you are running stock or near stock tuning with a stock turbo, you may be ok. FYI, the GM y-bridge rings are "thinner" than... -
EGR Delete kit!?!?
X2 I helped a buddy do his LBZ with a kit from Amazon, he saved some $$, but we lost 3 hours doing extra fabrication work because the welding jigs were not set correctly with his kit. If you buy the full kit instead of the plate, spend the $$ and get it from someone who is not kicking them out... -
Allison 5spd no forward and no reverse
Un-ATSing an Allison is a bit of a pain, ask me how I know.:mad::mad: I would recommend running your stock one (again if you still have it), then having the stocker rebuilt.- BlkMax

Could have been an injector cup, bad headgasket, all of the above. The cups have o-rings, and have to be locktited (this is a special high temp red locktite and both the heads and cups needs to be uber clean). I've had to go back in after dealer monkeys did not lube the o-rings and essentially... -

Help: banging out of 4wd
Check your tires. I had that issue and it was excessive wear on the rear tires. Rears wore down, fronts didn't, rears were spinning faster, and the t-case could not disengage. LB7 piston cooling jets?
I just had the heads off my 04 with 265k miles. You could still see the crosshatching. It had never been opened. I don't think you can use crosshatching as an indicator of mileage.- BlkMax

I had the heads off Emma due to a head gasket. Took them into the machine shop for a check and they ended up shaving both heads about 0.012". Now I'm trying to get the y-bridge to bolt up, and it will not go far enough down to line up the bolt holes. What are my options besides pulling the... -
Drivers side dipstick from lml on Lbz
It will still crowd the back of the left head, even when cut. I went back to a Merchant tube on Emma, too much of a PITA with the LML tube.- BlkMax
