    DiE hard platinum AGM from sears. Had them for 4 years, don't use the truck much and has always started. Only thing is they don't have the reverse terminals for the drivers side. I had to extend mine but some say they can get it to stretch. Never had a problem with the hold down part

    Just get the cheap ones off of ebay, 3 inch, and leave the overloads. My truck hits the axel pretty easily with it in and only a decent load.

With the deeper part in the back with the sump work better at keeping the fuel in the sump and keep sloshing down a bit since it's not smashing into a wall and mostly just fighting gravity?     Could it be he just needs a tranny build? Clutches change in 4th and if it's slipping it could cause the "dog humping" motion and not transferring power to the wheels

    Has anyone ever used one of these instead of the stock tank on the drivers side for the strip? Instead of doing a cell just put one of these in and put a sump on it?
