    That area is not the cooling system. Everything goes into the oiling system at that point straight drop down.

    I had fun at he tbss nationals when I took my buddy's there. Then ran the truck there for the hell of it and had them all thinking what the hell lol. There fun trucks I think the wife would like one but she's stuck on the Tahoe.

    what engine oil should i use?

    I have use rotella and Mobil 1 noticed they both started getting thinner over time. This was new before they were even ran and they were ticking more after warm. So I started running Champion Blue Flame and the stuff rocks.

    The tune your buddy flashed might not even be the right OS for your truck. I would not go by any dtc codes that came up. Other the. The one for your bills intake tube that needs rescaled. This is the issue when guys use tunes they find off the forums and try running them. Get the stock tune...
