    Headlight restoration

hmmm. I've never dealt with headlights that old, so maybe clear coat is the answer for those. Newer "clear" plastic ones are much better against oxidation

    Headlight restoration

Just wax your headlights with your truck (or by themselves if you don't ever wax your truck) and they will never fade or oxidize. Much easier and cheaper than the clear coat recommendation

    Dodge sucks balls

But isn't that what the whole straight axle argument is about? They say you need a straight axle to run big tires without burning through parts?

    Dodge sucks balls

I have two friends that love dodge as well, one has the 06 style that seems okay, but the other has the 08+ and he also mentioned about the exhaust brake and how he had to use it to keep the turbo from screwing up. I thought that was ridiculous. Sounded cool though, we called it the screamin'...

    Transsynd change over

I think it's great that Mike said what he said, I'm sure it's frustrating having people question his knowledge all the time, especially behind a keyboard

    Remote Starter install

With the above method it's virtually impossible to fail. I promote soldering, but not everyone can do it and should do it. Most people have cold solder joints that are 10x worse than a t tap

    Remote Starter install

No, I don't like wire taps at all. I explained a perfect method a few posts up. I will try to grab some spare wire in my garage and make visuals of what I mean.

    Remote Starter install

I somewhat agree, the point of that splice I mentioned is for people that don't want to "modify" the original wires in a vehicle. The method allows you to completely remove the aftermarket wire and just tape the bare spot. I squeeze the connection with mini flat pliers I have after twisting them...

"OFFICIAL" What did you do to your D-Max today?

It draws suction through the water separator first, correct? So maybe my water separator isn't seated all the way and it's sucking air from that seal? It's got a slight whine to it now almost the same pitch as when a vehicle has a bad power steering pump. I'll check those filters tonight

"OFFICIAL" What did you do to your D-Max today?

Anyone know why my airdog 165 would resonate more in the cab now after filter and water separator change? The filters are tight and seem to be sealed well, but maybe I tweaked the mounting plates a bit and now I get harmonics in the cab I never had before. Any ideas on what I can chase down ?

    No Allison for 2017

My buddy spent like $10k on his built trans for his dodge, but said it would hold 1k HP... Still seems like an expensive tranny build to me. I think that price included freight and duties to Canada as well which is where it was built.

Looks so easy to install a brand new water pump tats keyed or welded. Is that in your plans? How many miles are on your current one?

"OFFICIAL" What did you do to your D-Max today?

Put my filter head back on with a cat filter and I'm going to start running 5 tanks of B20 to clean up the fuel system. Then I'll delete the head again and hopefully not have any more issues with noise or balance rates
