Wish my 4088 did died... Back to stock VVT... I was annoyed with it within 50 miles....
Spent over $150 on toll roads in last 2 days. Camper from Northern Indiana to New Jersey and back without camper. With tolls in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and back in Pennsylvania.
Put my filter head back on with a cat filter and I'm going to start running 5 tanks of B20 to clean up the fuel system. Then I'll delete the head again and hopefully not have any more issues with noise or balance rates
towed my toyhauler loaded down with the tracker inside and supplies for 5 days of hunting up north. CAT scale says im 24k lbs total. thats the heaviest i have ever had this truck loaded. there are a few good grades, one is 5-6 miles long that range from 7% grade to 5% the whole way. Other is 10+ miles that goes from 3% to 6%. i set the cruise at 65mph with never needing to down shift unless i hit one of these grades. then i would kick it into 4th, slow to 60mph and turn 2600-2650rpm all the way up. on the way there, it was a high of 50* and i never saw coolant raise over 200, EOT never passed 235, and Fuel temp stayed at 130*. on the way back, the last 7% grade and 71* outside temp started to warm things up. EOT hit 250*, ECT hit 225* and fuel temp hit 185ish. Never slowed from 60mph though and EGTs never saw over 1200* while running a consistant 35-40psi of total boost. i was very happy with how well and fast it pulled this weight. surprised me it did so well and stayed as cool as it did. this summer i wont be breaking records up these hills but im ok with that
Bull elk archery out in in unit 7w (basically just north/west of flagstaff). it was a very hard hunt being a rifle deer hunt took place 3 days into our hunt (1000 tags for them vs our 55 tags) and it snowed pretty heavy tuesday and wednesday just before i got up there. So with that excuse, no i didnt lol. got a shot off at 100 yards but my highest pin is 75 and i missed. i will be investing some time in making 100 yard shots before next year as thats about as close as i could get before spooking them.

716,603 - oil changed, greased, front tires changed to Michelin LTX A/T 235/80/17 gauged 9/32nds. Changed license plate bulbs to 6000k LED bulbs. Couldn't see plate before over red light bars. Billet grill put back on for winter.
