Nice Jesse, you have to get your form down, the weight will come later. Good job bud.


Yeah checking form on everything. Been doing hard flexes at top of reps on various things, it's crazy how wrong you can be doing something and barely be doing it different. You do have to really focus on what you are trying to hit. Since I've been flexing on reps my chest and biceps are getting way more sore. I'm gonna bump my weight up on squat I've been doing short rest 225x10x4. And it's killing me. I've also been leg pressing before squat it limbers me up, but wears me out also, I did 810 8 times 4 sets on leg press then did 225x10x4 squat that's was last friday. Only time I've had sore legs a week later on leg day again.

Keep at them Corbin, every night before you go to bed & first thing in the morning... Trust me, they will get you fixed up. I'm a firm believer in self healing within reason of course. I'm super pumped your able to do some deads, that's so awesome:thumb:


I felt puny as heck at the gym today. Fighting of a cold I think, throat is sore and nose is stuffed up in mornings. EmergenC and Onguard seems to be knocking it down but surely effects my workouts.

Lol guess I'm on the right track then. I didn't eat as much as I should of, I get pressed out pretty quick when that happends. Haven't done a good set of decline in a while.

Glad everyone is in the gym smashing weights! Matt 500 is going down bud let me know when you go for it.

FML this cold is kicking my azz.... And the smoke is back & so thick, .5 mile visibility tops.
Anywho was supposed to do this workout yesterday but felt like sh*t, so I put it off till today.

I have never looked at the bar so long in my life, with so much doubt that I could pull this one off. Amazing what the thought of failure can do to the human body, dug the heels in and ground them out...
Squats
325x4x6 Good lord that took every ounce of will power I had to stay under the weight but I got it done.

225x4 ultra long pauses (seemed like an eternity)

Been having some low back issues so my training has suffered some. But got in the gym and decided to go heavy last night. Started off with a couple 400m runs to get warm. Then decided to do some benching. Ended up hitting 370x1 which is a 30lb PR so I'm pumped about that. And got in some "heavy" deads at 405x3x3. Low back is pretty sore today but I'm hoping that with some stretching and foam rolling things will get better.

How much weight are trying to drop?

Enough to look good lol. I always look on the heavy side of a bulk. I'm between 230 and 233 with my gym shoes on last week or two. Maybe around 215 would be good, I don't need a 6 pack. Just want to look a little leanER. Just loose some of the belly and get some definition.
