Wheels are coming along nicely Matt:thumb:

My hip, groin adductors are still crazy tight and achy, luckily this week is a semi deload.
Squats
warm up and stretching
295x4x8
Slightly shallow on depth (borderline legal) If I buried them it really aggravated my groin area. Need to do a bunch of groin stretches for a bit.

Calves on the smith machine

Got stuck under the bar this week... 245 on bench. Went for that 10th rep didn't get it:(

Nobody else was back there. Had the clamps on too, so I had to roll that shit down to my hips. BOY! Did it hurt like a MFer going over my hip bones.:eek:

Very cool but would be interesting trying to get foot out of an arch and then kick that while not twisting shoulders.

Ya, if you had a mean arch and really pull your feet under your knees it would be hard to get them out. I would rather try then roll a 350 bench off my chest:D

Really been poking the chest out on deads and tightening the lats and it hits my legs way more and takes a lot of stress off of my back, feels alot better.

Then I ate 3 donuts while still in the gym. The crossfitters looked at me like I brought a bag of heroine into the gym.:D

You would be proud; I haven't snatched in 2+ weeks. I'm focusing on getting my squat moving again. I'm not up in weight yet, but my speed is much better and I'm stronger at the bottom. I've had a hard time moving from the O lift bottom position to a real squat stance.

Totally proud:D I'm going to turn you into a Meathead yet lol

What was your best snatch C&J?

What was your best snatch C&J?

Snatch: 210lb gym PR, never hit more than 200 in a meet.
C&J: 277lb gym PR. Again, never hit close to that in a meet.

My best meet numbers were in 77KG class (you read that right, you monsters...)

My issue is the first pull in cleans is slow and my jerk is shaky balance wise. I squat jerk, never split jerk. To illustrate how weird this is: I can hang clean 300 pounds for a string of singles, but struggle to get my timing right from ground to shoulders without DL up then sliding back down to a high hang position.

The obvious issue here is my jerk given the huge gap between C&J and hang clean numbers....I'm just slow with my arms.

170 huh, someone get this boy a sandwich lol. Snatch and C&J gym numbers are pretty good for a little guy:hug: I have only snatched 165 and C&J 235 no training just watching youtube...

Some day I might get into the Olympic stuff again... But I have unfinished business in power lifting first.

supposed to do 307x4x8.... By rep 4 the hip flexors were roasted... Modified this wo to a 8x4 it was hard as heck but I got it done. May need to take a week or two off to heal up.

Joining the deload/rest crew with ya Albert...

Supposed to be a 475x5 yesterday, squeaked out a triple and was A) feeling crappy B) noticing knee caving etc so called it quits.

Taking a week off and stretching. Tweaked my left shoulder cause of a bent bar awhile ago too. :mad:
