My left butt cheek is getting worse by the squat... Time to call it a night and live to fight another day. Whole state is on fire and it's wicked smoky out, can't breath, eyes burn, hot as hell, not good squat weather. I will redo this squat day next monday when the buttocks are a little more receptive to the beating I want to give them:D

Went to the gym I used to attend by my parents yesterday after work, two years later and they STILL have bent/crappy bars. :spit:

Worked in with some kid on squats, by far the fastest workout ever, think it was less than 15min to finish my ramp?

Squats
worked to a 445x3 <-- this weight combo for me, is the bridge between heavy stuff and light stuff, hate it.

Bench
5x225, meh, chest aches to much time off

Row
3x275, lulz at rowing.

Goal was to just do something after a week off and being badgered into dinner at my parents. So happy with how things went.

So:eek: not sure what day I was looking at but I should have done a 4x10 @ 259:spit: Pretty F-ing badass to make it half way through at 80% of 405. I will redo this squat day sometime this week if I can, so I don't get further behind on my "program":D

Sumo deads are roasting my it bands, right knee & right hip flexors.... I feel good with the pull but I can tell it's working some tendons and ligaments that aren't used to working:D

I need 600ish and he has to pull 900ish:rofl: He was giving me shit about baby weights, so I evened the playing field and pulled the body weight card on him;) I currently pull 2.5 times BW and he is pulling 2.1 ish...

lulz, 900 dead is way harder than a 600 in relative terms. Think you got that in teh bag! Be careful with teh IT band stuff, that caused me all sorts of issues with squats a while back, not enough stretching and knees collapsing in on big weights.

That being said, after a couple weeks off, I am back!

I've been doing my normal stuff. Liquid grip really isn't bad. I do re apply to my left hand every set or it slips. But been pyramiding up around 425 consistently while trying to eat less my gains on dead halted fast but I'm holding on to what I have. I've been doing higher reps on squat to get my form in check. Also focusing alot on dead form. Not roasting my lower back anymore and the overall pull is more fluid and smooth. Before it was like a 2 step pull. Id straighten my legs then bring it up with my back before. Now I got my chest out and lats tight it's working wonders.

Been working on sumo deads for the last few weeks and it's not bothering my back. Pulled 325x3 easy, picked up 375 and couldn't lock out. Progress again though.

Way to ease back into it Matt:thumb::D I have been stretching and working on the hip flexor and it bands. I'll keep them in ck.

I will pay for it tmmr, but thankfully should be drinking and laying on beach all day so its all good. :D

If I can do 455x5 on Monday, tis 505 1rm testing time :coolspot:

Nice Jesse, you have to get your form down, the weight will come later. Good job bud.

Whoo hoo that's good news Corbin, Sumo has taken alot of pressure off my lower back as well. Just makes other stuff sore now:D

Thanks! I think the vertical is getting there, tough to say because I've been playing too much the last few weeks. I haven't done any squats in at least a week and a half. I'm gonna try and pick up some more weight this coming week and start adding some. Probably only be able to lift 1 day a week for the next 2 months or so.

1 day a week on squats is fine. I'm only getting in 1 a week now. Yes get some more weight:thumb:
