Thanks for the tip Chris. Glad I'm not the only one who gets to the end is is like FUG ME! Good news is guess my legs just weren't used to the heavy volume so they just got tight and had knots which i stretched and rolled back out. Feels much bueno now. I'm super excited to get them. I wish they had a yellow and black pair...STEELERS NATION for life

Ben & Co is going to have their hands full this weekend. The whole team needs to be exceptional to win. Im not a big football fan anymore but I hope they can pull it off.

Another tip, most leg days I never did the accessories and when I would it was at a light weight. As the weight went up it was squat, dead, leave.

I'll remember that. Thanks man.

I agree on they better have their poop in a group. I'd like to see em stop the Patriots and go on and try for ring #7

F*CK YA Chris!!!!! Nice pulls, that put a smile on my face:D The yell at the end of the first pull was sweet. You'll become a meat head yet.

Let's add to the smile. Been killing calfs 4 times a week, 125 reps each day for 4 months. I'm pleased to say they are now 16.5 inchs and on par with the arms. That's around an inch in 4 months. I never really worked calfs so it's definitely been a combo of newb gains and gear. (Please guys don't train a body part 4 times a week if you're natural). The quads and hams have progressed too, but not as much because I'm not getting the newb gains (they were decently trained from the start)

Sitting up about 4lbs which I honestly believe 2 of which were added to my calfs alone. Now I will shift my focus to chest.

I've also altered my reps for more strength. I'm far weaker than most of you guys that are around my body weight.

Didn't like them...went back to the ole Chuck Taylor and every once in a while a work boot with a wedge heel.

Last time I did calves they got a week long cramp:D I haven't done a thing with them since but they are getting bigger. Knee sleeves used to slip on fairly easily, know I'm tearing the sh*t out of my calves with my rough ass hands trying to get them on lol.

Yes sir, my back is rarely pissed after squats, but after sitting at work for a while after deads makes my lower back nice and sore

I cannot get the tightness out of my hamstrings from my leg workout almost a week ago. I'm about to chop my legs off.

That's how my calves were after the first two days of 125reps max weight you can do for sets of 25. I couldn't stand straight it pulled so bad at the knees.

Think this was like 15 min?

I banged out some squats yesterday.
225 x 10
275 x 10
295 x 8
315 x 6
335 x 4
Did the stack on leg extension machine for 4 x 8
ham curls, usually do these single legged but went back to both legs and went heavier.
Then calves, I'm barely actually getting where I can see the edges of my calve muscles lol. Been trying hard to hit them hard at least once a week with legs.

Asthma? My gym is the opposite, super dry due to where I live and it's only 70 in there so it's hard for me to get and stay warm. I squat in some Russell athletics leggings with some windbreakers over and a hoodie so I can stay warm. It's a pita really.

I did day 3 of candito and gonna wait to go do day 4 until tomorrow afternoon so I can get my squat shoes in...so Flippin excited

Most will never lift hard or heavy enough to ever tell a difference. I love my Romaleos but the new Reebok looks equally as nice. I would go with the one that grabs your eye and has the best price. Nike has it's new Romaleo 3 out now as well.

What type of lifting are you primarily going to use them for?

Squats/cleans/snatches etc. I'm starting to really enjoy Olympic lifting. I go twice a week still doing fairy light lifts tho since I'm still recovering from wrist surgery but know eventually I'll need to invest in a pair I know they make a huge difference.
My squats I feel daily comfortable with I'm up to 225lbs but I know lifters make a difference with form and sitting back on your heels a little better.

Well you really need a solid feeling, heeled shoe for Olympic lifts:thumb: I try to push off the mid sole more than my heel But whatever Q you need to stay off your toes.
