Well heel to toe off the wall is 10 7/8" which they say is 10.5 so not sure if I go the 10.5 or the 10. I figured the 10.5 is exact size of foot so a 10 would stretch minimally and be super snug. Am I right in thinking that way...and wtf is running? Ain't nobody got no time for cardio

Had intentions of training legs at the gym today.. can't even do body weight squats because my hip decides to be super tight.. guess it's cardio..

Where you at on lb?

I've always thought instead of risking injury outside of competition to calculate a max with reps of at least 3. I like you style though with bench, squat, and dead.

Nothing fancy. Bench is I'm guessing 200/205. Squat 205/210 and if I can pull 200 I'll feel good. I was doing great making good progress then just got busy this fall and didn't go lift very much and lost alot. Working it back up

That's great that you are back into it. I hurt both shoulders and one bicep two years ago and haven't gotten back into the gym since. Do you have a specific program? I used Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 and then went to Beyond 5/3/1.

As the saying goes, "if you want to get stronger lift more weight."

I've done Jim stoppani shortcut2size and did stronglifts 5x5 but ort of plateaued and didn't care for the split so I stopped and have been doing my own mash-up of Arnold blueprint to size and the shortcut2size. I still go all by feel on squats, bench, and deads. If I'm really feeling it then I just keep adding weight and doing reps. Some days I feel like a puss and only do a 4 or 5 lighter sets...it's been working but I'd like to do the Candito program so I need numbers for better base

Finally, finally talked to the computer at nike. It's true to size so going to go with a 10.5 and if it's not right I'll return and go smaller. Decided on the Nike vs Adidas after reading people say the Nike was a more solid and better constructed shoe. So colors in my size are "Holy Shit Yellow like what chis has, holy shit blue, holy wow orange, or the hell fire red" now to decide. I just want to hold em in my hands it's be so much easier.

Did squats, worked up to ass to grass 315 for 5. I usually do 315 for 5x5 . Just did a pyramid today with higher reps and I'm feeling it. Maxx ed out the leg extension cable machine. Ham curls. Calves calves calves.

Hot Damn it was a great morning for some Squats! PR 225x1. No knee cave or butt wink and I damn sure didn't bounce it was nice and slow down, quick pause and then drive like hell to get that bitch up to lockout. I looked like a friggin cherry. Figured 210 would be it but felt light so kept adding 2.5 a side. At 220 I decided hell with it I got safety bars if I can't get out the hole. So I'm pretty damn amped up.

Barx10, 95x10, 135x10, 175x5, 195x2, 205x1, 210x1, 215x1, 220x1, 225x1

Also decided a 10.5 will be huge. Had my shocks as tight as I could get em and when I'd cram my feet into the toes and grab the floor persay, I had alot of room in the heel. Thinking a 9.5 or 10 will work better. Gonna go to Dicks and size my feet and see if a 9.5 and or 10 will be right, then body weight squat in them and see if they get loose at all.

Thats awesome Brock! You'll love the Candito program.

I stopped in the local fitness shop and grabbed a belt. Got me a leather Schiek 4" contour. Pretty nice for $65. Been working it around all night and its loosening up nicely. Cant wait to use it tomorrow.

I got on his site and found the linear and the strength program. Wife is going to print off the linear program for me as I couldn't find an app for it. I did find an app for the strength program though. Max bench tomorrow and if my back decides to play nice I'll max dead Saturday. Then I'll set the programs side by side and compare to see which I want to do. All I know Chis is your dead shot up like a rocket.

Thanks for the compliment Chis, it felt awesome to hit 225...I can now say I can squat 4 plates .

In other news I went after max bench today...I feel that is way more and art and all about setup. I got 210x1 but I feel I could hit 215 or 220. Not sure if I have a muscular imbalance in my back or what the deal is but I felt like I was leaned to my right side. Anywho that was deflating a little bit when I only hit 210...went from to in a matter of minutes.

Been squatting dead lifting and benching every week at least twice. Nothing fancy to report. But bench has been feeling better than the others with the high rep transitioning.
