I'd still be ungodly white. I burn so bad so I avoid showing lots of flesh as best as possible. But if I get jacked, well then that is subject to change

I don't feel like I'm that big... But I appreciate the compliment Brock.

I heard a really good quote the other day "Don't compare your chapter 1 with someone else's chapter 10". All of us need to keep that in mind.

I catch myself getting down when I'm squatting the same weight for 5 that I did for sets of 10 a year ago. You have to grow where you can and realize that sometimes to move forward you will go backwards.

Bench. 45x12, 95x10, 135x5, 155x3, 170 x10. This was my XMR day on bench but since I have no friends to spot me I stopped so I didn't have to be "that guy" yelling for help or trying to wiggle out from under the bar. Then my accessories and some rolling. My glutes and hammies where they merge have a wonderful knot and boy did it feel lovely to roll those bastards out. Then hit a few tight spots on the quads and called it a day. Might start doing lighter sets of squats for sets of 10-12 to get them use to going for reps.

Oh and story time. 3 new guys at the gym. Total "Bro/Ego" lifters. Horrible form, lots of shouting and grunting, throwing weights, going way to heavy on stuff, not unracking equipment or wiping down. Then they ask hey where do towels go. In the huge hamper next to the fresh towels...ya know the one with a 8.5x11 sign saying dirty towels and an arrow point down. So what do they do...Throw em in the corner and walk out. Oh my sweet baby jesus do I want to drop a barbell on there throats

:rofl: I know the type Brock.... I always try to leave the gym in better shape then when I got there, arrange the weights on the rack in order, strip my gear down when done, wipe the equipment off etc etc.

There is a ass wipe that likes to drop the barbell off his back when he squats, M-fer has bent both of the new Rogue Ohio power bars that took me a year of bitching to get... I haven't seen him in awhile, he will get a piece of my mind! I have to take the worst one into work this weekend, tear it down and put it in the lathe and hydraulic press to see if I can straighten it up enough to use. With the ends bent it wants to roll around when ever you load it up heavy.

He bent a Rouge Ohio? WTF over, how much did he have on it. Would they have a manufacturer warranty on them for defects? I would think one of those would but not sure.

After talking to this guy at the gym about lifting, yes talking lol. mostly about dead lifts. That's what i was doing at the time. He asked me if I had ever done an 8x8 with 315, I said no but I can now say that I have and that it sucked bad lmao. Never felt like I wasn't gonna get it up, just felt like a fat kid at his first day of summer camp, out of breath and already feel exhausted. I did do pull downs and cable rear delt flies. Then one set of biceps lol. Bought a shake and bounced out. Definitely killed me with being used to my pyramids I love so much. Sitting at about 245 body weight in my gym gear.

He was half squatting 455... The stupid f-er sets the catch bars 12" off the floor gets half way up and just dumps the weight:thumb: What a F-wad! First time I had him do it right behind me while I was loading the bench up scarred the crap out of me. I tell him, Dude if you need a spot just ask! He replies, "I don't like spotters". Whatever dipshit I hope you get hit by a car.

And Ohio power bars have a lifetime warranty for Defects and failures but not abuse, pretty sure that falls under abuse:mad:

Shitty part is he literally bent or broke 6 barbells now... Why in the F would you allow someone to do that to your gym equipment?

I'm getting super pissed just typing this:D

Yuck! I was at the gym today doing curls in the squat rack, thinking about my deadlifts tomorrow. Wondered what a 10X10 of 315 would feel like, pretty much decided death and you confirmed:rofl:

I've done 315 for 4 sets of 10. But this was dumb lol. Like I said the strength was there, I was just beat down by the end. That was the closest thing to cardio I've done in a few years:spit:
