The best looking pickup in recent years to come off a gm assembly line was the 01-02 chevrolet hd's jmo.

I think the best looking p/u of all time to roll of the General's line was the '67 - '72 GMC 4x4's.
I love them and the Jimmy's. Someday I am going to get one.
Look at the attached pics and you tell me what fender matches the tires the best. The above mentioned IMO hands down!

Love the looks of the '01-'02 HD's. So much so that I bought two of them before my LMM;)

I agree that GM needs to come out with a new, bold, GTF outta my way look. I hate ( really hate ) to admit it but the New Rams look nice.

The new gm's are nice just drove one, we ended up buying a leftover 2013 cuz the price was unreal may go back and get another. The interior in the new truck took some time gettin used to but the fit and finish was nice.

Power wise the new DI 5.3 was pretty good I didn't feel a lot of difference from the old LS based 5.3 in our 13 but our 13 is 3.73 to the 14 and it's 3.42. I will be curious about the new HDs we are loving our lml good mileage so far we just broke 13k miles pulling urea is killing us maybe fingers crossed urea will go away and some new 6.9 miraclemax will replace the duramax

You clowns bitching about the looks and the wheel wells and the blah blah there are other trucks out there enjoy:thumb:

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they like the Tundras now? Even the extended cabs have 4 full doors and the cc just have bigger doors. I think that pic posted is an ext cab... I could be wrong though

Yeah that has to be it. That pic of the red truck's rear door actually looks small like it would be an extended cab.... Haven't seen a 4 door yet at the lot that would look like a true 4 door. New trucks are still slowly showing up here and I'll keep my eyes open.

It is. I saw a cc in passing yesterday, there's several on the road here in my little town. It actually surprises me people around here are buying them already. After seeing a few different colors I do like them more than just the red and white ones I'd seen previously. But anyway, the cc I saw on the road had massive rear doors. A lot bigger than my 05.

So because tires are round, all wheel openings should be round?

Yes.
Symmetry makes the lines flow better and it plain just looks better.
Those of you that think the square fenders look better have never seen a nice sports car ever obviously. And probably failed kindergarten too (round peg square hole) LOL!

Disageree strongly, the new f150's big deep round wheel wells look like shit. A square wheel well when sized properly will allow less interference when suspension is under compression if GM would make the wheel wells wider front to rear and they would eleminate the rubbing of tires in turn, a truck is naturally boxy so a round wheel well stands out to much for me I like the strong chisled look a square wheel well brings.

Y'all gonna start bitching about IFS now???

I just left the lot we bought 2013 single cab 2500. The 2014 trucks are really nice, by far rhr the quiestest cab I have ever been in. I wasnt to keen on there styling either but seeing them first hand changed my mind. They had a couple that were lifted, looked really nice. My da dad is going back to see what kind of deal they work him on a ccsb 4x4
